Getting ready for Grandma and Grandpas

I apologize for the lack of updates this week.  For some odd reason Ajax has temporarily forgotten that he can sleep through the night.  On Wednesday he woke at 12 am and was up for about 2 hours and then woke up a few more times before our 6 am alarm clock went off.  Anyways, we’ve all been pretty tired this week and hence, no updates!

My parent’s were in town today and picked Ajax up at noon from Ms. Karens.  They went visiting a bit and then played at home.  We all went out to dinner at our favorite Mexican restaurant and we had to ask for a second cup of salsa because Ajax needed his own.  This kid loves salsa; he pretends to dip a chip into it, but I’ve seen him pick the whole cup up and drink the stuff.

Tomorrow we are meeting Dave’s parents in Bay City and they are taking Ajax until Tuesday.  Ajax will have tons of fun tractoring and playing with the dogs, but I’m sure going to miss my little guy.

Dave and I don’t have much planned while Ajax is up north.  Dave has a lot of work to do (check out his awesome website, Red Star Web Development – if you need a website he’s your man) and I’m actually going to be in Chicago on Tuesday for work.  So all in all, good times!

Loves playing with shoes.
Concentrating.
HI!
Getting as close to Sesame Street as possible.

Candy

Tonight after dinner we gave Ajax an oatmeal and raisin cookie for dessert.  Dave wanted to give him a little kit-kat bar from his haul, but I feel Ajax is to young for such sweets.  I didn’t even let him have a piece last night, which Dave thought was a bit  silly.   Ajax is only 19 months and certainly doesn’t need the stuff; he was just fine with his cookie.  The problem, however, is that the candy is now sitting in our kitchen.   Who do you think is now eating it?

Ajax is currently teething and has a little fever.  I really hope that he’s not getting a cold.  I therefore gave him a warm bath with bubbles, what every baby needs to relax.
